L’Aquarium is somewhere you can go no matter what the weather is like and be sure to have a good time! It’s Europe’s largest aquarium and you’ll be amazed with the amount of information it provides on sea life and the amount of sea creatures it holds!

Established by the Ferrades Mutanola brothers, it’s said that more than 14 million people have visited the aquarium. With its wide array of tanks with each one with containing different species, no wonder its such a hit with visitor to the city.

The Oceanarium is probably one of the key focal points in the aquarium and it’s the only Oceanarium to be found in Europe. As the largest tank in the aquarium it obviously holds the most amount of species. The underwater tunnel enables tourist to catch extradinary views of the sharks, giltheads, eels and many more.

You can also check out their Mediterranean and Tropical tanks which houses coral reefs, flat fish, spiders, sea snails, sea stars and more.

The aquarium also gives you the opportunity to dive with sharks, if you do, it will be the highlight of your visit. L’Aquarium also provides an exhibition for kids called Explora. This is a part of the aquarium where children will learn about sea life through various different interactivities.

This place really is a retreat for sea life fans.
