Situated on the hill of el Carmen in the Gracia District of Barcelona, it was designed by Antonio Gaudi and built between in the early 20th century. It is now part of the UNESCO World Heritage site for the "Works of Antonio Gaudi".

Parc Güell contains amazing stone structures, stunning tiling and fascinating buildings. The Gaudi dragon fountain at the entrance to the park is covered in beautiful coloured tiling and is not to be missed.

At the top of Parc Güell is a terraced area where you get wonderful views of the park and of Barcelona City. Parc Güell also has a small house in the park where Gaudi lived at one stage. The house has now been converted into a museum and contains interesting furniture also designed by Gaudi.
